Operational logic and game objectives

They can add exactly 10% liquid to the mix with each pour, so to achieve a perfect match, they must calculate the proportions exactly (for example, 100% orange requires 5 pours of red, i.e. 50% and 5 pours of yellow, i.e. 50%).

The laboratory has two exciting main missions:

Mixing the Target Color: A predefined sample color (Target Color) appears on the screen. The child’s task is to mix the exact same shade from the ingredients step by step, hitting the right proportions, until he reaches the 100% MATCH condition.
Color analysis (Deciphering the secret recipe): In this mode, the game reverses the logic. The child sees a ready-made color in front of him, and relying on his logical and visual skills, he must say or figure out exactly what amount of ingredients of that particular color (what percentage of which color or how many pours) are needed to prepare the recipe.

The levels and tracks of the laboratory

The game introduces the child to the science of colors in a gradually more difficult structure:

Tracks with 3 basic colors: The smallest ones start with the most important basics. Here, using the 3 main primary colors (red, yellow, blue), they have to create simpler, secondary colors.
Additional color tracks: At this level, finer, more complex shades are added to the flasks (e.g. lemon orange, leafy green or blood orange), where the shift in proportions (e.g. more yellow, less red) gives rise to a completely new result.
The 6 colorful master courses: The biggest challenge is where all 6 main colors (primary and secondary colors) are present on the palette at the same time. Here, true master logic and precise planning are required to achieve a perfect match.

What does the Color Mixing Lab develop?

The mechanics of the digital laboratory support several key areas of child development:

Development of mathematical and sense of proportion: With the help of 10% pouring steps, the child visually experiences the basics of fractions, percentages and quantitative ratios.
