Why Kiddos?

100% child-safe environment

Because we’re fed up with bad apps. We all know: it’s hard to find good quality, safe content for kids. It’s either full of ads, or annoying music, or just plain stupid. We created Kiddos because we’re parents too, and we’re tired of it. We’re trying to create this gaming platform so that kids can independently develop their digital skills and learn through play.

Complete Security

  • Zero advertising. Nowhere, nothing.
  • No distracting animations or flickering
  • All appearance and content are child-friendly
  • Controlled screen time, built-in time limit

Scientific foundations

We are parents ourselves. We all come from the world of science and believe it is important that what we give our children is based on reliable sources and solid knowledge.

When developing games, we take into account age-specific characteristics and stages of cognitive development, and we strive to ensure that every game represents real pedagogical value, not just a pastime.

Development areas

  • Developing logical and emotional intelligence
  • Memory and concentration skills
  • Spatial and mathematical skills
  • Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Supporting creativity and problem solving
  • Musical intelligence
  • Cognitive and problem-solving skills development

How does the Kiddos platform work?

We design over 20 different game mechanics on a single platform, for children aged 4-10 . Gradual difficulty levels, diverse themes (animals, nature, fantasy) designed for independent use.

This digital gaming platform is designed to allow children to play and learn independently, at their own pace. The progressively more difficult levels take them through a variety of themes (animals, nature, fantasy, holidays) while developing memory, logic, language and math skills. The reward system ensures that motivation remains throughout.

Targeted development

Every game has a specific pedagogical purpose. The child learns while playing.

Each of our games has a conscious development goal behind it. Memory games strengthen memory and concentration. Logic games develop problem-solving thinking. Quizzes expand general literacy, while the child doesn’t even realize they’re learning.

Controlled screen time

We know that screen time is a concern for parents.

The Kiddos platform has a built-in time limit: after 60 minutes of continuous play for each game, the system automatically suggests a break for the child. At this time, a friendly message appears encouraging them to get up, move around, drink a glass of water, and continue playing later.

Clean interface

A design without distractions. Colorful but calm. Cheerful but not over the top.

Most apps for kids are full of flashing ads, pop-ups, sound effects, and “get more points!” manipulatives. Kiddos is different. We’ve designed a colorful, kid-friendly interface that’s engaging for kids, but consciously avoids overstimulation .

Who are we?

The idea was born on a summer afternoon at the playground. We were watching the kids and talking about how tired we were of the advertising-laden, flashing mass applications. We wanted an interface that was safe, sophisticated, and provided real value, while also developing children in an unobtrusive way. We knew that if we wanted something like this, we had to create it. And we did it! 🙂

We design and program every pixel of SmartKiddos™ ourselves. Our IT development and engineering research background gives us the freedom to implement virtually any game mechanic.

Our most important filter, however, is our own little boy. His regular question – “Mom, did you make a new toy today?” – drives us forward. He is not only our most enthusiastic tester, but also our harshest critic. His deep interest in the world of math, logic puzzles and construction toys helps us to keep the games truly exciting and thought-provoking. This approach is part of our everyday life, and it is what gives SmartKiddos™ its true authenticity.

Use it with as much joy as we made it with love!

About financing

SmartKiddos™ is currently free and ad-free.

This is not a marketing ploy. Every game, every feature is created in our own free time, with our own energy and enthusiasm. In the evenings, on weekends, when the child is already asleep.

We can’t promise that Kiddos will stay free forever, because “free forever” on the internet usually means you are the product.

If paid features are introduced in the future, they will be fair and transparent. Until then, use them healthily, and if you like them, please tell others.
